Our Vision

The aims of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors are:

• The advancement of safe and ethical cosmetic medicine to the benefit of both the public and cosmetic doctors alike
• To maintain standards in cosmetic medicine
• To represent cosmetic medical doctors in a unified manner
• To be a channel for ongoing education
• To act as a support network for its members.

Our mission

• We will strive for excellence in efficacy and safety in cosmetic medicine
• We will aid the delivery of appropriate and well explained care to patients
• We will provide access to cosmetic doctors for adequate training in new techniques as they are developed.
• We recognise this field of medicine is unregulated so we will endeavour to provide open access to information so that patients can easily source appropriately trained and experienced doctors.
• We wish to make the public aware that cosmetic medicine treatments are not without risk and should be directed to the right Doctor who has received the required training and experience
• The association intends to drive cosmetic medicine forwards, to reduce the unwarranted and undesirable aspects of its reputation and gain the respect enjoyed by all specialised branches of medicine.
