Why choose a BACD doctor?
The British Association of Cosmetic Doctors exists to advance safe and ethical cosmetic medicine to the benefit of medical practitioners and members of the public. We will endeavour to provide open access to information so that patients can easily source appropriately trained and experienced doctors.
Our aim is to represent cosmetic medical practioners in a unified manner, to maintain standards and practice ethics in cosmetic medicine.
- All BACD cosmetic doctors are General Medical Council Registered, or equivalent if International Members
- BACD doctors must hold BACD certificate of competence, a post graduate certificate or diploma in Cosmetic medicine
- All BACD doctors must meet the BACD criteria of application
- All BACD doctors must attend regular educational and scientific meetings.

- Attended BACD Educational and Scientific meetings = 1 star
- BACD Certification Day completed = 1 star
- BACD completed clinic audit = 1 star
- Registered Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine = 1 star
